There exist many misconceptions and misunderstandings about the Libertarian Party and libertarians in general. People are often incorrectly informed concerning what we stand for in the 21st century in the United States.  But, it's really very simple. We, the members of the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania, believe that:
(1) all human beings have individual rights to life, liberty and the products of their labor.
(2) these rights are the basis of justice and thus serve as the only legitimate purpose for laws among people.
(3) any and all systems of government, therefore, should be strictly limited to acts which secure and preserve these rights.
We expressly condemn and renounce the initiation of force and the use of fraud as means of achieving political or social goals.
If these simple, yet powerful, principles resonate with you, then come join us! We are a party of inclusion and not held hostage to special interest groups of the wealthy and powerful.
